The drive thr was rather eventful with a few random stops here n thr. I slept fr the first half of it. It wasnt vry comfortable but guess i was jst tooooo tired as i had gone out partyin the nite bfr. So yea bk to the point. We had a lil detour to Yong Peng. Bk on the road again..the next stop wud be at Gelang Petah. Nothin reli much to do thr. Changed currency and had a drink thr, den off we went again. Took alot of random pictures thr and soon afta we were at the checkpoint/immigration. That was sort of a drag. Nevertheless, we got into Singapore fairly trouble-free. Then the horror struck! My fone's roaming had issues. ARGH!! No contact with the world...

Checked into the Hilton @ Singapore on Orchard Road. Reli reli fancy place i mst say..and it is worth evry penny u pay. Nt long afta we settled in, we left fr St. Alphonsus/Novena Church. It was blazing hot thr. I seriously tot we were to get a heat stroke and die or sumthin haha.

Afta dat, we went bk to the hotel with hopes of swimming but unfortunately a private event was booked half an hour later so thr was no point. Got bk to the room, had a bath den jst chilled...
At bout 7.30 pm, went fr a walk up and dwn Orchard Road jst checkin out the plc. Took a cab to Boat Quay later on. Had a reli expensive, not worth the money and not at all tasty dinner thr. Only bonus was that it was by the river. Afta wat seemed like eternity, had food and off we were on the 45min river cruise.

The ride was extrememly fun, especially in the nite with all the lights n sounds. Went around Clark Quay and Riverside Point. Catchin a glimpse of the Merlion, Esplanade, countless museums, restaurants, bars, malls, people, bridges and nt to mention those wishin ball like thingys that glowed in the dark waters. The view was simply breath taking frm the boats' upper deck.
the bridges had vry Tiesto-ish lookin lights
the many bars n restaurants by the water
Riverside Point
that white pole like thingys is actually fr sum extreme sport of which people sit in this ball and get launched up way way into the sky at high speeds. Looked like heaps of fun.

By the end of it all we were tired and decided to head bk to the hotel. My bro and i were kinda bored up in the room afta while so we headed out to Orchard Road once mre...walked miles and had a hotdog on the way and finally retired at McDonalds. Got sum fries and mint chocolate frappe. dat was splendid. Oh, they have a McCafe in Spore...desserts n Starbucks like drinks are on the menu. Pretty nice plc to chill and i think its reasonably priced as well.
