Remember me?

Amanda and Zen picked me up from campus at around 3 something and off to the SS18 Ramadhan Bazaar we went. They bought tonnes and tonnes of food. Kebab, roti bom, vegetable chips, meat and potato balls, otak-otak, donouts, coconut drink, kuey tiau/macaroni, weird green and yellow cake stuff, sambal buns, cempedak and God knows what else.

They came over to my place in USJ3 and devoured all that they bought. Chilled till about 5.30pm then Zen left. Amanda and I then hung around, trying to comprehend both calculus and chemistry while watching ER.

Started getting ready at 6.15pm for our dinner later on in the night at Sheraton, Subang.

The 8 course meal was alright I guess. Due to Malaysian timing, by the time we ate, I was already so hungry anything would have tasted good. The entertainment for the night was actually not bad. There was this utterly hilarious dude, Leonard Tan, some singing people and Comedy Court.

We got home at almost one and by then Amanda was already on the verge of sleep. Wanted to watch a horror movie, but then decided it wasn't exactly the best idea. So in the end, we just stayed in bed and talked. The pig however fell asleep on me. =(

blanket stealer fast asleep haha

We, or rather I, woke up a couple of times and finally decide to wake little miss sleepy head up at 9am. Rolled around in bed for a good 20 minutes just talking and relating to what happened the night before. Planned to scramble something up for breakfast, but nothing really seemed appetizing. We ended up wanting to watch the horror movie, but couldn't work the DVD player out. ISH.

Out of sheer randomness, we watched..

Flashback

Let me take you back to the 6th of August 2009. Orientation day. =D I was as excited as I could possibly be.

As usual, orientations are meant to bore you with long speeches and 'informative' stuff. It was even worse for me as I was already familiar with Taylor's University College's system. Nevertheless, I was looking forward to meeting new people.

Some parts of the integrative programme was fun, others, to be frank, were down right lame. Oh, and I may have already mentioned this in my previous post, but heck it; CAMPUS IS TOO COLD! We were based in the Purple Box, Taylor's own performing arts theatre, and the air condition vents were GINORMOUS! So freeze, we did.

just trying to proove my point haha

the one on the chair is Louis, my chemistry classmate . i also see the business major dude, Korean shy boy, chemistry classmate that sits behind me but I don't know his name, and Ayeza, my Pakistani calculus classmate.

i only recognise Alfie and the hot American dude haha

JunIan, random dude, Paul and Minnie my Korean classmates, and err i forgot her name

First day of classes was on the 10th of August 2009. As per norm, I was early. Nowadays, I'm there on campus so early I beat the security guards at times haha.

this is what our faculty hallway looks like at 6.50am

Everyday at 8am, I go for Calculus lectures and see Mr. Herol Gaibin. He's oh-so-young

English Composition lectures are conducted by the kinda and pretty Ms. Mary Varghese

Ms Intan Juliana Shamsudin. The laid back Chemistry lecturer

My timetable is really spaced out, so I have a lot of time to chill. Boredom nowadays is actually a good thing as it drives me to complete assignments waaaaaaaaaaaaay before deadlines and studying is an acceptable option. It also means I have time to meet up with mates and just chill over a meal or something.

It's been raining on a daily basis now. If you follow my blog, you''ll know that storms are my favourite. Was waiting for my pick up from SS14 one day, when I got drenched and frightened the living daylights out by MASSIVE lightning bolts. Such huge surges of electricity.

the heavy dark clouds just waiting to release it's contents

its raining, its pouring..

they were exactly like this. and imagine it going off a few times a minute. shocking and scary indeed.

Besides that, the thunder. Good grieves! One was so ear-shatteringly loud I actually got a neck spasm from flinching too suddenly.

Look who's back

I'm alive? What am I saying, yes, I'm perfectly fine, albeit a little ankle injury sustained 2 days ago..pfft.

It's been 2 weeks since university classes commenced and I'm completely aware that this blog is kinda..err..completely abandoned. Whoops. Time seems to fly by nowadays. And my nocturnal way of life is slowly evolving.
.
I have some pictures that will be uploaded soon enough. Just stay tuned. Bottom line, its been great. Except for the bit where I've got H U G E gaps in between classes. Oh, and sitting in class seems like this..
And therefore, im constantly..

..sneezing haha

Freshman

It's my second day here in university and I'm enjoying myself so far. The schedule needs some adjusting to, but other than that, all is good.

Made a lot of new friends from all over the world. United States, Myanmar, Indonesia, Pakistan, Kenya and other Arabic countries, to name a few.

My timetable is a little suckish for this semester. Calculus classes start at 8AM EVERY SINGLE DAY! Insane. I also have Chemistry tutorials and lab from 12.30-4PM on Thursdays. So help me God haha. =/

Uneventful

That pretty much sums up my entire week here.

Been paying visits to random people. OK, maybe not random but yea you get the point. My cousins came over the weekend and as usual we had a blast. The four of us; Ken Nie, Mae Gern, my brother and myself are inseparable when together. Most of the time being funny and loud. When I said loud, I meant wake-you-up-from-sleep-alert-cops-emergency! sorta LOUD. HAHAHA!

MG and I ended up watching 'He Was Cool' to pass time. A lame yet really funny romantic Korean movie (it's so not me, I know). This was my second or third time watching it, after being introduced to it in college last year, where the five girls all took turns passing the DVD around haha.

I have pictures and stuff but they are in my phone and I left my cable in Subang. =/

Besides that, I also got the chance to meet the girls-Bee Ting and Rachel. Its been ageeeeessss since I last saw them. Went to Old Town for lunch, updated each other a bunch, walked around aimlessly and window shopped like true girls. =D

The 3 weeks literally rendered me BROKE. I'm so poor now. Anyway, it's my second last day before university commences. Gonna make the best out of it! Excuse me while I ah mah-fy myself one last time and go to the pasar malam.
