Girls night out x 10^n

Punctuality. I live by that, like seriously. One of my many non-Malaysian qualities haha.

Picked Bee Ting up and off to the mall we went. Lingered around and then met up with Rachel who made it on time!! That's a big deal cause err..shes always late? Haha..

After much deliberation as always, we ended up at Old Town. As usual, the meal routine would involve a lot of laughing, chatting, jokes, hilarious antics and of course devouring food. These are usually the highlight of every hang out session we have. Just catching up with the latest news about each other.

We then decided for a movie. Dear Rachel had free movie tickets to Night At The Museum. =)

Had some time left to spare before the 9.50 pm movie slot, so we randomly walked about, alternating between malls. The movie was utterly hilarious. So many cute little things but my favourite would definitely be the singing cupids.

Hitched a ride back home with Bee Ting and her family after the movie..only to end up here blogging. It was certainly a pleasure hanging out with them.

So what..

..if I don't wear my heart on my sleeve?

Trust me, it doesn't make a difference. Feelings escape one way or another.

On a totally unrelated topic..
Thanks for the call mel. Always nice catching up with you. =D

Hospital trip

Curiosity kills.

Anyway, went to the hospital today to get my wrist checked out. An intense throbbing pain started last night down at my wrist and proceeded slowly towards my elbow, followed by my shoulder. I got kinda frustrated so I err..banged it really hard on the table couple of times? Haha pain relief to a certain extent.

Well, as usual the wait in the hospital is dreadfully long. Didn't mind though 'cause I actually have fun at hospitals. Its one of the most interesting places ever, with people from all walks of life having just about every ailment in the book. And no, I am not weird, thank you very much.

So years and years later, I actually saw the doctor. She was a bitch. Instinctively I spoke to her in English. But guess what? She went on and on in Malay, of which I had to respond to. Mental translation was again needed haha.

Had to go for a blood test to check my rheumatoid factor (antibody directed towards an organisms own tissue). That would be to see if I have arthritis. =S As of now, diagnosis is still uncertain. It could be anything basically.

The guy drawing blood was funny and polite. I was looking to see if he had found my vein and we started chatting. He also got excited that health care was my choice of career in the future. The needle prick did sting a little and it hurt way more when he probed around, under my skin, 'scavenging' for blood. It took only about 100 attempts, sticking me here and there, changing angles and depth; to finally get it out. I was watching very closely just about ready to burst out in laughter. It was very funny indeed. Again, no I am not insane.

Getting the needle out was even more hilarious. The guy had this smile and proud look on his face. Blood came oozing out after that and it felt kinda strange. Kinda bruised up now haha.

aftermath..

the wrist with many issues

I'm a sadist, no denying it.

HENCE hahaha

I was bored. Decided to google my name for it's origin and meaning.

[Sonia]

Pronounced sawn-yah/sone-yah. Learn it and please stop pronouncing my name in such a way that it sounds like so near. Ridiculously annoying, that is. The origin of the name is believed to be Greek and it means "Wisdom". =)

[Fernandez]

Pronounced fur-nan-des. It originated in Spain and is found throughout the Hispanic world. Haha that explains alot about my race now doesn't it ? Anyways, it means "son of Fernando", with Fernando (whoever he was haha) meaning Journey or Venture.

Now wasn't that interesting? haha

soon, very soon..

Did you know..

..that I was a huge football fanatic?

A Manchester United fan through and through. I would wake up at 2.30 in the morning for matches, buy jerseys; basically eat, sleep and live it.

And have i ever mentioned that my favourite player of all time is Ruud Van Nistelrooy? Well odd choice, but yea. He meant everything. I even have a life-size poster of him in my room. Haha.

back when he was still Manchester United's striker..

currently Real Madrid's item

excuse me but I think hes hot..haha

Though not as concentrated, I still watch matches and get myself updated with how the table is like and stuff. Besides, piles of my prized collections, are still safely tuck in my treasure box.

Just thought I'd reveal something not many people know about. =) Surprised?

Happy Mother's Day

my poser mum =D

nahh, this was actually candid..

Love you loads!

The cousins are back.

The heat is killing me. Killing me sloooowly..

Anyways, like I mentioned above, my cousins came down for a random weekend visit. =) Usually, we just mess about all day long, take pictures, watch movies, TALK and chill. Nothing changed this time round.

There's four of 'em. Ken Nie, Mae Gern, Dee Eyna and Dee Nyse. If you've noticed..the last two are identical twins. Haha.

while watching Spider man 3..

Mae gern and I then decided to go to the guest room and chill. AWAY from the heat and other 'distractions'. Ended up err taking loadsa pictures? haha..

take one..

take two..

take three..ignore Winnie the Pooh haha

The day is still not over. I have no clue what else were gonna come up with. Looks like they are studying. Wth haha.

Oh and a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Ken Nie!! Hope you have a blast..

I take it back..

Driving is kinda fun after all..well, sorta.

Drove on real roads today!! How cool is that??! Haha..proud moment. I loved the feeling of wind in my hair and the long, never-ending winding roads. For a beginner, 90km/h felt so exciting. Drove all the way from my house to Jasin, followed by a brief visit to the driving centre and back. =D At one point, while driving along the countryside, there was a valley of which looked like tea leaves were growing on. Scenic indeed.

nothing like a drive accompanied by rays of sunlight through the lush trees

long long roads. my favourite.

Somehow or rather, there would always be a red light, that I eventually had to stop at. Pfft. The other thing I was not very fond of were slow paced cars, trucks and tractors; ahead of me.

..and on the way, this was at one of the junctions..
