Too short a holiday

It's officially my last day of the Hari Raya holidays. This is so not fair as pretty much everyone else starts next week or the week after that.

Anyway, went out with the girls as usual. Picked Amanda Fam up then we went to Friends Cafe again. There we were met by Vivian, Bee Ting and Rachel. Had a variety of drinks and just talked away.

We all wanted to then go have satay celup, but SOMEONE *cough rachel cough* didn't or rather wouldn't take us. =( ISH. In the end we all walked over to the mall to get some food and DVDs for an apparent movie night at my house. See how random we can get?

So we wanted to get 'The Orphan' but it isn't clear for some reason or another. In the end we got some weird scarecrow horror movie (which didn't turn out scary nor entertaining at all). After that, we went to Newton to get MORE FOOD! Hahaha! There we got a a variety of local food. Cravings fulfilled, actually, not really.

Since Amanda Keah's birthday is coming up soon we decided to also surprise her with a cake and stuff. Cheu Ling was already at my house when we got back and from there on, the rest was history.

The very next day, I had to go meet Aalex (a.k.a Yiie Huern) and Vijay. Its been ages since I had a proper outing with Aalex, particularly. We had lunch after getting movie tickets. There we talked and talked and talked. Just like old times, may I add. We kinda lost track of time so we had to hurry to the cinema where we watched..

Haha the movie was utterly hilarious. Rather provocative at the same time. After the movie, we literally walked aimlessly around the two malls. Bumped into a tonne of familiar places. We left at around 7pm I think. Time well spent, indeed.


PS. i still have the cold and sore throat. was having cold sweats that day and now, the wondrous cough has arrived. pneumonia, anybody?
